Using Heat to Erase!

July is UV Safety Month! And Efficient would like to tell you to stay safe by staying out of the sun or by wearing sunscreen. We have a cool product to tell you about, which can also draw an analogy of the sun’s harm on us. Pilot’s Frixion writing devices are thermo-sensitive so they can erase using the heat created through friction. If you make a mistake, all you have to do is rub it away with friction and no harm is done to the document! Neat, huh? The Frixion line has both pens and highlighters in a variety of colors. Everyone can use these nifty pens, because everyone makes mistakes and erasable ink is the best solution! Here’s where the analogy comes in for UV Safety Month, if the pens get too hot (>140° F), the ink will become colorless and ineffective, and if we are in the sun, we can have sun poisoning, heat exhaustion, or dehydration. The pen’s ink will be restored if put in the freezer for a little while, and we will be recuperated with water and aloe, but it’s better to be safe in the first place and prevent any harm or damage to ourselves. Wear sunscreen in the sun and don’t forget to drink water!
